Our take
This hotel is an excellent choice for families or groups attending events at the MCG who value self-catering options and easy access on foot. The apartments provide space and flexibility, a real plus for longer stays. Fans will appreciate the short walk to the stadium, avoiding the post-match rush. While it doesn't have a dedicated match-day bar, the kitchens in each apartment offer the freedom to create your own pre-game setup. Light sleepers might prefer rooms away from the street on busy event nights, though the overall vibe is relaxed.
- Book an apartment with a kitchen if you plan to self-cater, it’s a great way to save money and manage family meals.
- Walk to the Melbourne Cricket Ground; it’s quicker and less stressful than trying to find transport on event days.
- Utilise the full-service laundry for longer stays or if you're travelling with kids, it makes a big difference.
