Simorgh Hotel
A 24/7 cafe for late arrivals and early kickoffs
About this hotel
Fans staying here will find a 24-hour cafe, a genuinely useful feature for a fan landing late or leaving early for a morning kickoff at Azadi Stadium, something few other hotels on this list offer. The French/Iranian restaurant adds a distinctive dining option, and the airport shuttle helps given the longer transfer from Imam Khomeini International Airport. Its rating around 7.8 reflects dependable, low-key service.
- 24/7 cafe
- Distinctive dining
- Airport shuttle
- Free parking
Our take
Fans staying here will find a low-key stay with one genuinely distinctive feature, the round-the-clock cafe, useful for anyone whose schedule doesn't fit standard hotel dining hours. It suits travellers with irregular arrival or departure times more than those prioritising a five-star amenity list.
- Use the 24/7 cafe if arriving late at night or leaving early for a morning kickoff at Azadi Stadium
- Use the airport shuttle given the longer transfer from Imam Khomeini International Airport
- Walk to Grep Restaurant, about 10 minutes away, for an alternative dining option
Why we love it
- 24-hour cafe, rare on this list
- French/Iranian restaurant
- Airport shuttle included
- Indoor pool and gym
Why guests love itFor a family heading to Azadi Stadium, I like the Simorgh Hotel mainly for its indoor pool and its 24/7 cafe, which can feed tired children whatever time you get back from a match. The French and Iranian restaurant gives you two kinds of menu under one roof, and free parking helps if you drive across Tehran. The hotel also runs an airport shuttle, worth booking since the taxi ride takes close to an hour.
