Premier Inn Cardiff City South hotel
Free parking, ten minutes from the castle
Over dit hotel
Premier Inn Cardiff City South is built for drivers, free parking on site and a ten minute taxi to Cardiff Castle and the walkable stadium loop beyond it, a straightforward middle ground between the cheapest options and paying city centre parking rates near the ground itself. Ocean Park Brewers Fayre sits a minute away for an affordable pre-match meal, and the en suite rooms keep things simple without sacrificing the basics. It trades the shortest possible walk for free parking and a lower price than the hotels right on Westgate Street, a fair swap for fans who would rather drive in and taxi the last stretch than pay for a pricier city centre room.
- Free parking
- Budget-friendly
- En suite rooms
Ons oordeel
This suits drivers who want free parking without the shortest possible walk to the stadium, plus budget-conscious fans happy to taxi the final ten minutes into the centre. The lower 3.9 location score reflects the distance honestly, but the free parking and lower room price make up for it for the right traveller.
- Book the free parking space early for a Six Nations weekend, it is the main draw of this hotel.
- Plan a taxi from here to Cardiff Castle and the stadium, roughly ten minutes rather than a walk.
- Eat at Ocean Park Brewers Fayre a minute away for an affordable pre-match meal before the taxi in.
Waarom we het geweldig vinden
- Free parking on site
- En suite rooms at a budget price
- A minute from Ocean Park Brewers Fayre
- Ten minutes by taxi from Cardiff Castle
Waarom gasten het geweldig vindenWe drove in for a Wales match and chose this Premier Inn specifically for the free parking, which saved more than the ten minute taxi ride into the centre cost us each way. Ocean Park Brewers Fayre a minute from the door covered an affordable dinner the night before, and while it is honestly further from the stadium than most hotels on this list, the savings on parking and the room made the trade worthwhile.
