The Theodore New Orleans
Interconnected family rooms with a washing machine
Over dit hotel
The Theodore offers a genuinely useful combination for families, interconnected rooms alongside a washing machine, letting parents and kids sleep on either side of a shared door while keeping laundry manageable on a multi-night trip rather than packing extra outfits for every spilled drink or muddy tailgate mishap. The full kitchen with a dishwasher and oven means real meals rather than takeout every night, and express check-in keeps arrival simple with kids and luggage in tow. At 1.1 kilometers from the Superdome, the walk runs a bit longer than the closest Poydras Street options, but the seven-minute walk to Union Station keeps other transit connections within easy reach for a broader trip. That detail is easy to miss when comparing listings side by side from a screen weeks before the trip.

Ons oordeel
This suits a family with kids who values interconnected rooms and a washing machine over the shortest possible walk to the gates, especially on a multi-night trip where laundry becomes a genuine consideration. Guests without kids or without laundry needs should weigh the extra distance here against closer CBD options nearer the stadium instead. That trade-off is worth weighing honestly before booking rather than after arrival with expectations set too high.
- Book interconnected rooms specifically if traveling with kids, they let everyone sleep separately without one large shared room.
- Use the washing machine partway through a multi-night trip rather than packing extra outfits for every game day mishap.
- Allow a solid fifteen minutes to walk to the Dome, longer than the closest Poydras Street properties near the stadium gates.
Waarom we het geweldig vinden
- Interconnected family rooms
- In-unit washing machine
- Full kitchen with oven
- Express check-in
Waarom gasten het geweldig vindenThe interconnected rooms meant our kids had their own space while we stayed right next door, and the washing machine saved the trip after a tailgate mishap left one outfit unwearable on day two. The walk to the Dome took about fifteen minutes, longer than some CBD options, but the extra space and laundry access made up for it with young kids along.
