Our take
This park is best suited for families attending events who prefer a more relaxed, spacious environment over a bustling city hotel. Its strong transport links mean you can still reach the stadium or arena without hassle, making it a practical choice for those with children. It's less ideal for solo travellers or groups looking for a vibrant pre-match pub scene right on their doorstep, but perfect for a quieter, family-focused stay.
- Plan your transport to the stadium in advance, as it's not within walking distance
- Utilise the park's family-friendly amenities if you're bringing children for a more relaxed stay
- Check local bus or train schedules for event days to make the most of the transport links
