Our take
I would choose Riverwind when the trip to Norman is as much about a night out as about the game. The casino, shows and restaurants are all in the building, parking is free, and the suites give a group room to spread out. Families with young children may prefer a quieter hotel, since the casino sets the tone. Plan the drive to the stadium on game day.
- Take advantage of the free parking if you're driving to the stadium, it saves a lot of hassle.
- Explore the casino's dining options before or after your event for a convenient meal.
- Book a room on a higher floor for potentially quieter nights, away from the casino buzz.
