East Hotel Dalian
Spa, three restaurants and free parking near Tongniuling
About this hotel
This is the most complete hotel in the Dalian list and the one to book when the evening after an event matters as much as the event itself. Three restaurants and a bar mean there is somewhere serving when a crowd comes back from Ganjingzi late, which is the specific weakness of almost every other comfortable property out on this side of the city. The spa and fitness centre earn their place the morning after a long night, and free parking plus an airport shuttle covers both arrival modes, whether you are driving down from Shenyang or flying into Zhoushuizi. It sits a short taxi ride from Tongniuling, so the trip west to Dalian Sports Center is a proper journey rather than a stroll. Fans staying here get warm, upscale rooms, the deepest review history in this inventory and facilities that make a two-night stay genuinely comfortable.
- Upscale four-star
- Spa and gym
- Free parking
- Airport shuttle
Our take
The strongest upscale booking here, and the right call for couples, families and anyone travelling for an arena concert with a late finish. The bar and restaurants make the hour after the crowd disperses easy rather than frustrating. Budget-minded groundhoppers will find better value in the old centre, and fans who want to walk to dinner should note that Tongniuling is a ride away rather than a stroll.
- Book a table in one of the hotel restaurants for after an evening fixture, the district closes early
- Use the airport shuttle from Zhoushuizi rather than the taxi rank, which backs up on event weekends
- Take the spa the morning after a late concert, it is the best recovery on this side of Dalian
Why we love it
- Three restaurants and a bar open after a late Ganjingzi finish
- Spa and fitness centre for the morning after
- Free parking and an airport shuttle to Zhoushuizi
- The deepest review history in the Dalian inventory
