Ibis Dalian Yida Spring Field Hotel
The closest budget bed to Zhoushuizi airport
About this hotel
Proximity to Zhoushuizi International Airport is the single strongest fact about this hotel, and it is the reason to book it around an event at Dalian Sports Center rather than anything about the rooms. The taxi run to the terminal is the shortest of any property in this inventory, which makes it the obvious choice for a fan flying in late the night before a fixture or out early the morning after. Everything else is standard chain issue: air conditioning, a predictable bed, a low rate and no surprises. There is no breakfast and no bar, so the evening happens elsewhere, and the metro journey east into the old centre or west towards the complex has to be planned rather than assumed. Fans staying here are buying the airport connection and the price, and on a tight one-night trip built around a flight schedule that combination is genuinely hard to beat.
- Closest to the airport
- Budget chain rate
- Late arrival friendly
- No-frills rooms
Our take
Book this one when the flight times drive the trip rather than the fixture. It suits groundhoppers flying in and out of Zhoushuizi on consecutive days, and anyone who wants a cheap, reliable room with no complications. Fans planning a proper Dalian weekend should stay in the old centre instead, because there is nothing to walk to here and the evening has to be imported from somewhere else entirely.
- Book this one when your flight lands late, it is the shortest airport transfer in this whole list
- Eat before you check in, there is no restaurant and the surrounding district offers little after dark
- Plan the journey to Ganjingzi in advance, nothing about this location makes the trip automatic
Why we love it
- The shortest taxi run to Zhoushuizi International Airport
- Reliable chain rooms at a genuine budget rate
- Air conditioning that actually works in the Dalian summer
- Simple, quick check-in for a late arrival
