Lvshun University City is a genuinely pleasant place to stay and a genuinely difficult place to reach a fixture from, and both halves of that need saying. The property sits on the south-western tip of the peninsula, with breakfast included, air conditioning and excellent scores from the small number of guests who have reviewed it. For anyone visiting Lvshun itself, the naval history, the coastline and the campus district, it is a sound and quiet base. For an event at Dalian Sports Center it is a long haul, further from Ganjingzi than almost anything else in this list, and the return after an evening kickoff is a serious piece of travelling rather than a metro ride. Fans staying here should build a two-night trip with a Lvshun day attached and treat the fixture as the excursion, not the other way round.
