There is nothing complicated about this one, which is its virtue. A three-star room with breakfast at a low rate, a short taxi ride from Tongniuling on the Development Zone side of Dalian, aimed at travellers who need somewhere clean and cheap rather than somewhere memorable. For an event at Dalian Sports Center the position is the usual eastern trade: the Metro Line 3 corridor gives a rail route back towards Dalian Railway Station, but the corridor is long and the last service leaves before an event crowd has cleared. Breakfast being included is the practical detail, because the surrounding blocks do not open early and a lunchtime kickoff means being out the door before most of the district stirs. Fans staying here get a functional base and a meal, and everything else has to come from the city rather than the building.
