大连盛捷港湾服务公寓
Kitchenette apartments minutes from Zhongshan Square
About this hotel
The kitchenette is the reason to book this one for an event at Dalian Sports Center, and it matters more than it sounds. A match or an arena concert in Ganjingzi means eating at odd hours, and being able to feed yourself at midnight when the barbecue streets are a taxi ride away changes the shape of the evening. The building sits a short taxi hop from Zhongshan Square, which puts the old centre, the 201 and 202 trams and the metro interchange at Victory Square within easy reach. Facilities run well beyond the rate: a sauna, a fitness centre, a bar, a restaurant with room service, full-service laundry and a business centre. Free parking makes it a strong choice for anyone driving in from Shenyang, and the airport shuttle covers the Zhoushuizi arrival. Fans staying here get an apartment rather than a room, which is what makes it work for groups and families as much as for solo travellers.
- Serviced apartments with kitchenettes
- Free parking
- Sauna and fitness centre
- Airport shuttle
Our take
This is the smartest all-round value in the Dalian inventory for anyone staying more than one night. The kitchenette, the free parking and the airport shuttle between them solve the three things that usually go wrong around an event in this city. Families and small groups get the most from it. Solo fans wanting to be out in the old-centre bars every night may prefer something directly on Zhongshan Square, since this sits a short ride short of the action.
- Stock the kitchenette on arrival, it is the only way to eat properly after a late finish in Ganjingzi
- Book the free parking if you are driving from Shenyang, spaces near Zhongshan Square are scarce on event weekends
- Ask about airport shuttle timings before an early flight, they rarely run for the first departures
Why we love it
- Kitchenettes that solve the post-match midnight meal
- Free parking a short hop from Zhongshan Square
- Sauna and gym for the morning after a long evening
- Airport shuttle to Zhoushuizi built into the rate
