Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly
Posh property with a spa and excellent transport links
About this hotel
Staying at the Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly puts you right at the heart of the city's transport network, with Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station just a three-minute walk away. This makes it incredibly convenient for reaching the stadium via public transport or for onward travel after a late game or concert. The hotel itself offers a refined experience, with modern rooms, a relaxing spa, and a steakhouse for dining. The classic bar is a great spot to unwind, though it's more for a quiet drink than a rowdy pre-match pint. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly amenities, and the available parking is a major plus for those driving in. After the final whistle, the short walk back to Piccadilly Station means you can quickly catch your train home or head out to explore the city's nightlife.

Our take
This hotel is best suited for families or supporters who prioritize comfort, excellent transport connections, and a more upscale experience rather than a raucous match-day atmosphere. Its proximity to Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station is a huge advantage for getting to and from the stadium, as well as for exploring the wider city. While it doesn't have a dedicated match-day bar, its amenities make it a solid base for a comfortable stay, especially if you're planning to use public transport extensively.
- Use Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station for easy stadium access and onward travel after the match.
- Book parking in advance if you're driving, as city centre parking can be limited and costly.
- Explore the area around Piccadilly for pre-match food and drink options before heading to the ground.
